Hold Me

Hold Me

A Poem by QuietPoet

Hold Me

Falling into lonesome

Wishing that you were here

I need you here to wipe my tears away

Keep me safe from the outside world

Have my smile stay

And keep the sadness away

I want you to take my hand with yours

Put it close to your heart

And open your arms wide

Kiss me like you mean it

And hold me and never let go..

Quite simple, but very meaningful. Being wanted is one of the most basic human instincts; there is not a single person on this world that does not want to be wanted. Don't worry; you are wanted, and you will be held soon.

Precious and sincere, sweet friend . . .

"I need you here to wipe my tears away
Keep me safe from the outside world"

don't we all?

Don't ever lose faith.

hugs~
