My Dear Cousin

This is for my cousin, obvisously. She is 14 and such a sweetheart. She's been having a rough time and I wrote this to help make her feel better. She's a blooming rose.. So young and so beautiful.

My Dear Cousin
I see you as beautiful
And not just on the outside
But what’s in your heart.
Sometimes we run into
Things that can hurt us..
But all you got to do is
Keep your head high
And don’t let them win..
Don’t let them take
Over your lovely soul
You will make mistakes
But you will learn from them.
I’ve hit so many bumps in the road
But look at me,
I’m still trying to live my life,
With all I got.
No body is perfect, sweetie
I’m here for you always.
I’ll be your angel
And I’ll catch your fall.
Your smile lets me live another day
I love you with all my heart
I wouldn’t change you for the world
Because you’re great as you are.
