I Only Hope

Life has been... hectic.. And I can only take so much..

I Only Hope

I waited all day
Till I was all alone
Underneath the bright moon
And the shining stars
Tears ran down my cold cheeks
I was holding them back
Until I couldn't anymore..
I just let it all out
I felt like I was away from home too long..
Its good to be here
But not when my family has fallen..
I am happy with life
But not when the one person
That holds me in his arms
Has left and wont be back for awhile..
Its good to be working a lot
But not so much where I break and become sore..
I'll wake up tomorrow morning
And see my dad for the first time in days
I'll give him the smile he deserves
And ask him how the doctor went..
I only hope to hear "Everything is ok"..
And go on with our day.
Sometimes life hits me,
It hits me hard enough to make me fall..
And I only hope I'll be ok..
