But then you tell me your leaving
Tomorrow to go check it out..
My heart hit the floor
I wanted to cry,
But the smile on your face
Made me put one on mine..
Not sure if it was real
I want you to be happy
But you have left before
All I did was miss you
And I was all alone
You’re my best friend
How do we go from
Hanging out everyday
To not at all..
We get so caught up in life
And we try to have fun
You’re my longest friendship
I’ve never had a friend this long
And we always will be friends

Ah, how life takes us all down different paths! We have friends that come and go in our lives. Then there are those special ones that become so very much a part of our everyday lives. These, too, sometimes go down different paths, but it doesn't mean that the friendship ends there. No, quite the opposite. When one door shuts, another door of opportunity opens to welcome you in.
