Relief By Morning

When the inspiration arrives.

 

Why is it so hard for me to write in the morning when I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on a new day? Because I've been refreshed. All my emotions have cleared and nothing's there. It feels light and empty, but relieving.

It's blank and repulsing.

At night is when the inspiration comes, when everything from my day hits me like a inner-city bus. Reality hits and engulfs the room through the lingering shadows that slowly invade the space that was once empty.

It's heavy, but worth it.

I really like the feeling of being refreshed also! I find that when there is something really bothering me and I have tossed and turned all night thinking about it, it is the morning that brings me new inspiration. Sometimes I need to let it go through my mind in the night to find a solution. I really like the simile of the inner city bus. I actually love the sentence about reality hitting. :) Kimi
