Praying to the Deaf Heavens

 

I slowly feel my heart so strongly

And my eyes do swell but for what “self pity?”

Oh, god I pray and just this once,

What’s become of me?

My heart it aches,

And I feel so lost.

I’m hurting those that came for blessing.
