When Angels Stay Forgotten

When Angels Stay Forgotten

A Poem by Sirajudin Matin

As blanket falls upon my face,
My lungs forget the air,
There’s only I around me,
Who knows if you are there?
In darkness waits an echo,
And if face had matched the voice,
Can eyes distinguish all that’s lost,
When angels stay forgotten?
