Razor Blades n Gasoline

Razor Blades n Gasoline

A Poem by Sirajudin Matin

Draped in black,
A daughter laid to rest,
Wrists concealed,
Dreams soiled on walls,
Trickle to the floor.

White eyes look to the past,
A body drained of dreams,
Put there by a lover,
With disappointed screams,
They lay together,
In undying slumber.

Dreams bubbled in his skin,
Ascending in the smoke,
Clinging to a picture,
A piece that made him scream,
Above the gasoline,
Now in closed casket,
A paradise collapses. . . .
