Lament of Tongues

Lament of Tongues

A Poem by Sirajudin Matin
"

I'm not feeling well...

"

Fickle frissons fracture hollowed bones

And I find myself before you once again

Sleeping simply to escape this dream. . .

Deaf screams pound within my skull,

What a tenacious sound; this war.

Rhythmic convulsions crack like thunder-

Over knolls of broken hope;

It seems I cannot escape you, my sulking sovereign.

How I long to embrace this hate…

Beseech this life bestowed upon me,

And break these fractal lies; they found my every cell,

But I dare not feed this endless hunger. . .

Oh to be of mortal

What endless sights this cosmos bound.
