As clear as if you stand before me,

Permanently ready to be fetched

Euphoric as our touch is, our closeness

Oh this is so true. When people only pay attention to outward appearances choosing a mate, they will be sorely disappointed as time goes on. Body shapes change. Wrinkles appear. Hair disappears. If the only thing two people have in common is a physical attraction, it will, sadly, not last. There has to be a true respect for one another and an ability to talk about anything and everything.
