Lost and found

My heart I find in 'Lost and Found',

Where all the misplaced are bound;

At day's start, I walked with a spring in my step,

But at days end, I checked the box

And there I found this heart of mine...

I'm sad to find my mistake was true

To bestow my heart upon you,

But now made wiser by my pain

It's a mistake I'm sure I won't make again.
