Facing My DemiseA Story by AleleiI wrote this last year at schoolIt had been a long time since I was physically able to conjure up thoughts about my life.Until now i hadn't noticed that my verve was sinking. Sinking. Sinking fast. I couldn't take it anymore. My life had turned out to be extremely frustrating, perplexing, depressing and well, just plain damn unbearable. As I walked up to the mysteriously masked forest, clutching the coarse rope within my quivering hands, I made sure of my decision. If I was meant to die, I was meant to die. As I felt my throat begin to tighten, my breathing begin to confine, my monotonous world disappear completely; Fade to black, I knew I had mad the right choice. © 2009 Alelei |
