ZephyrusA Poem by MattAs I gaze at the black firmament tonight
I am bewitched and dazzled by the starlight Such resplendence
akin to thy countenance’s glow And the cool breeze
bloweth and toucheth my face A caress so
familiar of thy love and thy grace I hear the wind
whisper thy melodious name Wafting thy heavenly
scent, my comely dame
I hear thy voice as
thou singest dulcet lullaby
Gentle Zephyr is thy courier;
mine anguish it doth pacify
