I have to say that this was very interesting. You are taking two different kinds of vampires, the classic and the psychic (from what I see, I could be wrong), and making an amazing short story out of it. It has a sense of mystery and a touch of the unknown here as the reader wants to know more about the relationship between Van and the vampire, how the main character became (or why he is) a soul eater, and much more. Great job!
