Just something to help friends get through a loss.

Go into the Darkness

There is warmth and repose there

Go into the Darkness

Feel the liquid, gentle air

Go into the Darkness

Shed your body like a snake

Go into the Darkness

All your soul, finally awake

Go into the Darkness

Replete with love and grace

Somewhere that is everywhere

And nowhere all the same

Go into the Darkness

Surrender all fear and spite

Go into the Darkness

But keep your lovely light

A piece of you we recognize

A modest, humble spark

So we can find you once again

When we go into the Dark

Author's Note

I usually don't write poems that rhyme, so this is a little out of my comfort zone for me. I don't know if it's too cliche or trying too hard to rhyme. What do you think?

Probably, I do write poems that rhyme and hence I liked it. Especially the line- 'Go into the darkness, replete with love and grace' sounds amazing. The deepness of the poem, which I can feel makes me refresh. Its very nice. Hope you will check out my poems too, good luck for your next one!
