Desperate

I stand alone,
Not knowing my surroundings.
Through misty sights,
I see so many of you standing .
I reach out for one,
But they catch nothing .
If only someone ,
Could understand my feelings.
Why am i trying ?
I shout at myself .
Look what i expect ,
Look what i get .
I am sick of playing,
This game of life and death .
I go to bed lifeless,
I wake up lifeless .
I have become Sisyphuss,
Pushing the rock just to see it falling .
These futile attempts ,
I am tired of trying .
I tell myself ,
These shadows are my only hope .
When life puts me down,
Love is my only cure .
So i will reach out again,
Desperate to be in someone's arms .

If i had to go deeper , i would potray the person's lone life more . Maybe i can go deeper but my objective was to link the boy's life with his desperate feelings .
Obvious . Maybe or maybe not . Many things in the above poem suggest deeper meanings . Just try to think more about some literal things

I don't think she means the rhymes. It's the excess words. A writer here once told me to cut out the fat from the lines. I think she may be talking about that.
