~Who You Are~

 

 

 

               Take the time to realize who you are

       

             Take the chance it might take you far

 

                 Many secrets can be unleashed

 

                There is nothing you cant reach!

 

             Are you someone you're proud to be

  

             People change, but not their history

 

      But what other people think isn't who you are

 

     If you blocked them out you could reach the stars

 

         Keep on going even when you have doubts

 

         Even when your mind is full of droughts

 

          People will tear you completely apart

 

           Just please never forget who you are

I like this poem in conjunction with your other ones :). I love when a person's poetry reflects the motions in their lives, some of them are inspiring while others are sobering yet all of them feel like their coming from the same heart. This is very true and very inspiring poem. ^_^

A wonderful flow of thoughts you've crafted here. I like how it blasts through the negative to keep the postitive nature of life in hand and in full stride to where the individual wishes to go. These are the words of hope and light. I wish more people could have such a positive foundation to their steps. Would make the world a much brighter place than it already is.
