Hovering over the rocks below
She glances up thinking
"Where is the life I was promised?"
And with one last blink
A silent tear falls down her face
As she plunges to the depths of the ocean
But before she hit the bottom
She sprouts wings
And flies through the stratosphere
Promising life to all
