Cracks In The Glass

Boil or Freeze, which one will kill you quicker?

I need to get out of the fire,
and jump into the water.
I need to learn to cool,
instead of boil.
I need to talk to the glass,
instead of it's cracks.
I try to fight it,
but i can't.
It's got the better part of me.
When i say something is not true,
I'm really trying to convince myself more then you.
You know it will end in regret but still you proceed,
as I watch you, my eyes bleed.
With the ignorance in the mind of a dysfunctional child.
She rides her razor one last time,
her soul, she cannot bind in time.
She's confused.
She's screwed up.
And she's in purgatory,
Never to be free again.

Oh, this is wonderful....I love the way it flows from the beginning to the end. It has a ring to it, that just grabbed me by the soul and demanded it's full attention. My favorite lines were when you said...
