Comedy & Tragedy

my heart is too big for my body,

and my brain too small for my head.

it's a swelling feeling,

like something's too tight,

like copper stuck into the bottom of a bottomless, cold, plummet.

it feels a lonely and empty but full and warm.

it's confusing but very clear.

it's depressing but happy at the moment,

i've learned who the muses are;

the daughters of the almighty.

and they're here to help.
