Civil ServentA Poem by RainbowcoTrying for alliteration.
Stalking, sliding, slithering through grasses, incessantly
Seeking some soft spot of shameful insecurities; insistently
Stretching forked sensors, slashing straight for the strike.
Stabbing, sinking, sharply savage fangs obsessively snide,
Shaping scurrilous statements of sinister inhumanness.
Shedding supple skin for the scaled skinned likeness,
Staring spitefully shiftily as an ambiguous civil servant
Somehow insidious this shifting soulless serpent .
