Passion's FireA Poem by RainbowcoIs it Love, Is it Lust, Only they know.
Some time between night and day,
Some place between earth and heaven,
Indescribable emotions holding sway
Caressing my thoughts in delicious play.
Your breath, cashmere soft, entwines
With mine own heart’s pulsing motion,
Stroking embers to flare up, blaze in time
A fire, not to be contained or confined.
Beyond obsession, hunger heatedly rises,
Consuming absolutely the demure curtain
Of propriety, leaving only smoldering ashes
That no longer demand immature blushes.
Wrapping spent ardor around, we lie touching
Sated bodies, hearts, souls, knowingly certain
No others have felt such passion, such loving,
We are the first since time’s very creation.
