Change the world

I wrote this during a movie my class watched in summer school. It was about how we are destroying the world, and how if we don't change our ways the earth will turn into something like its sister planet.

As I watch the change

The things I see

They seam so strange

Hurricanes, floods, acid rain

Our world is different

But we have not changed

 

The world around us

Is dieing fast

At this rate

How long will we last?

We need to change it

And change it fast

 

What could I do,

A child like me?

All I want

Is an earth that's green,

A world

One that's free

 

When you start up your car,

Or maybe your heat

Think of the world,

And her tiny hear beat

Her life is fading

Like a flower on the street

this was just something I made up while I was bored, so don't expect too much from it.
