Bond with the old venom

Bond with the old venom

A Poem by rose with love

I want you to know his halo’s not

as bright as before.

I want you to see he has opened the window

For the sorrows embrace.

I want you take a breath of faith

From my scars,

( the only ones that tell the ugly truth)

And break that fake shining star

Above your roof.

Evil’s lurking outside your door.

The blood will fall on the floor,

Your steps will no longer smile on that shore,

It’s not too late of letting go.

There’s nothing wrong in singing

To the moon all alone.

Don’t let the heartache knock on your door,

Don’t let it lay you on the floor.

He’s all poison.

His eyes, his smile, his touch,

His voice, all a mirror with no reflexions,

Not a choice.

Darling, deceiving it is not

The definition of faith.

It is simply the son of the

So called master below

His sometime-will-be grave.

Lock that crieving somewhere far away,

Somewhere in an imaginary darkness

Where all faiths suppose to fail.

Let me put a smile

On that pretty face of yours

And fill your empty holes with warmth.

Very similar to something else of yours I read today. I see you are off on a new spring. This is quite good, bravo.

I love this stanza. It so represents someone who deserves not our efforts, our time of day, our understanding or forgiveness. You pen this beautifully.

"His voice, all a mirror with no reflexion" This is my favourite line. You always portray your emotions and thoughts so well and your work never ceases to amaze. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful piece.

A positive end-note to a bleak and despairing narrative. Great imagery and descriptive writing - brilliant!
