Love of a FatherA Poem by Israel 🇵🇷Father LoveI sleep, I wake, I work, I breathe, Living a life with a story to weave. Each day passes, and still, I yearn, Will I see my daughter, my Lori, return? No matter the distance, no matter the fight, I’ll always be here, your guiding light. I love you so much, my sweet little star, Just promise to rise and be better by far. You’re my joy, my laughter, my heart’s embrace, Your smile, your crawl, your sweet little face. When you curl up close, my world feels whole, You’re the reason, the anchor, the light in my soul. This is a fragment of my story to tell, I’ve lost so much, and I’ve carried this hell. But for you, my Lori, I’ll keep standing tall, You’re my reason to rise after every fall. You’ll grow strong, wise, and brave as can be, Play, laugh, and live all the things I’ll see. And when you’re older, I’ll wait for your call, To hear your voice and catch you if you fall. For a father’s love knows no bounds, no fear, I’d risk it all just to keep you near. This is my story, my purpose, my all. For you, my Lori, I’ll never let myself fall. © 2025 Israel 🇵🇷 |
