Desert Dawn in a BalloonA Poem by Israel 🇵🇷Sky View and ThoughtsWe floated high in morning's glow, Above the sands so far below. Arizona’s desert, vast and wide, Bathed in gold at sunrise tide. Beside me sat a nervous soul, Clutching tight to keep control. "I won't look down!" she sternly said, Knuckles white and cheeks all red. Yet as the colors filled the sky, A spark of courage lit her eye. She took a breath, she faced the view, And laughed, I guess I kinda flew! Through fear and awe, we soared so free, A sunrise ride, just her and me. And when we touched the earth once more, She whispered, “Let’s go up once more.”
