I Will Be Free

I Will Be Free

A Poem by Randy Johnson

One day in the future I will die and I will be free.

When that happens, I won't have to put up with mankind, it won't concern me.

The world that we live in is a cesspool and it gets worse every day.

God will eventually no longer be able to tolerate it and people will pay.

Years ago when I was growing up, songs were clean.

Now some are littered with the F word, it's obscene.

People are more violent, rude and greedy than they used to be.

People will get even worse in the future but I'll eventually be free.

Sadly, The Lord will have to see the world as it continues to get worse.

But when I die, I won't have to put up with it, it will be the end of a curse.
