Voluminous deceivers emanate in the designation of Divinity

Crusades and speculations of crusades amid nations and kingdoms…

Sorrows: calamities, famines, pestilences and earthquakes

Ubiquitously men detest and betray each other

False prophets emerge and mislead masses

In the heavens the sun darkens and the moon refuses to give its light

Stars fall as the sea and the waves roar

Author's Note

I am not a religious person. In fact I try to be as neutral as possibly when faced with it. Anyway...having said that this poem does have a religious theme to it even though I was strictly going for a tongue-in-cheek metaphor for how the United States government is running things.

I don't think you have to be a bible thumping believer to see something is not right..I think we can "all agree" that their is a darker power in control. The masses are becoming dumber..and ignorant people are having ignorant children.
