A Poem by Raven Starhawk

Bathing in the moon's pregnant beauty
Thoughts interlace the battered web of my being
And as heaven opens to spill its tears
I grace past memories with stinging sorrow

Through a torn veil faces circle
Upon then are twisted masks
With glinting eyes and painted lips
A prisoner to their cruelty I have become
And a prisoner I will always be

i really like this...especially the use of "grace" as a predicate in your line...and "the moon's pregnant beauty" is a really nice image...

colorful use of language to display your theme.
