Hollow’s End

a fermented shadow looming

ever so close

and engulfing my heart

as denial of god

shackles hope to despair

 

Long lost are dreams

of deliverance from winter’s kiss

and my demon’s infernally presence

 

I am at last a prisoner

to my perdition

that forever more

continues to rain

a lifetimes of sour fruit

and burning flesh
