I Didn't Think- a prayer from my heart

This evening, I survived multiple tornadoes; however, many did not. This poem is really just what is going through my head and I still don't know if all my loved ones are okay. So, please be in prayer

God,

I didn’t think the sirens meant a thing

I didn’t think that I would still hear them ring

I didn’t think it would be this bad

I didn’t think people would lose all they had

But the tragic thing is, life will go on

The town will heal, nightmares will fade,

but the horrors shown will never be erased

:/ Yes I can imagine feeling this way, I am sorry to hear about the tornadoes, we have been praying for those who are effected. I hope you get to hear from all of your family and loved ones. It does seem like a very scary and heartbreaking thing to go through.

Thank you soo very much! Thankfully, my church had just fundraised a bunch of money to use for anyone who needed help throughout the year. So, we should be able to help meet a lot of the needs in the area. :)
