I wrote this awhile back and just found it.

I can feel your eyes burning into my back
I can sense your fear that I’ll never turn around
I can hear your uneasy breathing of anxiety
I can taste the rage that’s in the air
I can touch your tears of loneliness
I can, but I’m not, I won’t
I’m walking away.

the last to lines are perfect. Very cold. which is expressive of the action the describe. I love it. The imagery is wonderful.
