My Favorite Things

The Halloween season is when everyone else turns into horror fans which is my normal state of mind. So I wrote this little ditty sung to the tune of My Favorite Things from The Sound of Music.

Teardrops on noses and whiskers on mutants
Bright shiny hatchets in the heads of students
Abducted damsels tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things

Cream colored pustules and crisp scabby tumors
Hell hounds and burial mounds and clowns in bloomers
Gargoyles that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things

Twins in blue dresses with pink satin sashes
Morticians that turn my body into ashes
Disemboweled colons hanging like strings
These are a few of my favorite things

When the zombie bites
When the wolf howls
When I need a scare
Play a movie with my favorite things

And I'll be right there!
