I saved a life

I saved a life.

I took away the knife and blade.

Showed them a different way.

They are still alive today.

I saved them from themselves.

I saved a life today.

I showed them a way to live,

and love living.

I helped them from taking away what they were given.

I gave them something better than what they wanted.

I did not bug, abuse or taunted.

I showed them and guided them along the way,

And they are still alive today.

And the life I saved turned out to be the love of mine.
