A Love Letter

I sit there at my desk and ponder away,

What happened to you?

Why didn't you stay?

I tap my pen against my desk.

Why didn't it last?

Why couldn't we just leave the past in the past?

I put my pen on a piece of paper,

and start to write away.

''Dear You know your name,

I really miss you.I wish that you stayed.

I put my pen down,and put and put it away;

I put the letter in an envelope and went to the post that day.

And that is how I sent your letter away.
