HomewreckerA Poem by Soul FireA poem about my Fathers' affair.
Dearest ''J'',
I knew you wanted my Daddy from the start. I could tell in my soul, I could feel it in my gut. Don't give me any ifs, ands or butts. What young woman jogs with a married man? When my father asked if that would be okay, My mom was like NO WAY! Your redhair in a ponytail, Your short shorts, and tight tops. Any guy that looked at you would need a mop. Do you know what it was like,to see my father slowly leave my mom? Like did you even care? I know what you guys were doing, over there. Late at night in your underwear? What young woman wants to jog with a married man? Only one who wants no more wedding bands.
