Words do harm

Poison of your words enters my ears

It enters my brain,

against my will.

I listen to words,

and start to believe what you say.

Why don't you just go away?

Your words hurt more than anything you could do.

Why don't you just leave me alone?

 

''What's wrong with you?'' I say.

As Your poison starts to enter my veins.

It stings,it hurts.

It causes pain.

Why can't you just go away?

There's always someone who say things that hurts, sometimes those people are ourselves. It always hurts the most coming from people we love the most.

It's a sad reminder but it's nice to read and know we're not alone and everyone too have had this feeling :) Well done.

ummm im so much related to this poem. i even have a poem with the same sense(A need to bleed) i think it is similar to this one. i even feel it can be a completion to this one. it is a need to get rid of the poisoned blood...

Words really do hurt the most, even if you mean it as a joke. People need to keep things to themselves and think before they speak. This was a beautiful poem that spoke truly from the heart. Well done, keep up the good work.
