Scream, Yell, ShoutA Poem by Soul FireA poem about painful emotions, not being heard, or expressed. Hope you enjoy!Lava boils inside me, it burns, It just wants to explode. So many emotions, so little time. Trying to scream, But not knowing what to say, Will I know? I hope one day. Inside I am angry. Hiding the boiling fires from hell. My shouts of pain and agony, Try to leave my mouth. But are left unheard. A menacing squeal leaves my lips. But I am stopped by you. You cover my mouth, So no one will hear my shouts of pain. All you say to me is ‘’ be silent my dear.’’ The fear of you harming me again, Rises up inside me. Not knowing what to do, I just stay silent. But inside I am screaming. A scream that no one will hear. ‘’HELP!’’,‘’HELP !‘’,‘’’HELP!’’ I scream in your ear. You try to stop me, So no one will hear. But I won’t have it! I just yell, Scream, Shout and Squeal. One day, someone will hear. I hope.
