Climb

Climb

A Poem by Raymond Federle
"

Climb

"

My thoughts are to expensive to keep

and I spare no expense at emotion.

My nights are to dark to sleep

and they fill my heart like an ocean.

My days belong to others

 and sanity no longer seems,

As child like sighs,

 and nightmarish cries,

on the ladder to my dreams.

A very expressive and hauntingly beautiful rhyming peace

Reaching our dreams is not easy. You have to bear the pain while taking the ladder.
Very relevant, Ray. Thanks for the share.

This sounds so sad. The emotion in this can be felt through every line. I hope you can find peace in your dreams, you deserve some.
