For all time...A Poem by Raymond FederleFor all time...Ritual pride shall never torment the world's disease.
Jealousy shall never grasp the tomb of our hopeless heartbreak.
Could my scared soul violate her hurt and poison her thusly though the world's darkness ? Should I remember that scar?
Rhythmically you analyse the wings of a lie; it is tearful. I cover the scar; you are stained. Anointed with kisses, the journey to your bliss shall torment me so darkly. I suffer this flame, for you but you defy the ghost of my thoughts.
I am wounded and without pity recall your soul.
The world's ocean will swallow this entity of ours. Completely you understand and from your lips, on the wings of God, it is quite ironic.
Eternally I reject the world's words burning fire.
Like the lie that lays in an ancient temple, Still our love should forget that darkness once again.
But there so enlightened, eternity could bear us hence. © 2014 Raymond Federle |
