In Places KeptA Poem by Raymond FederleIn Places KeptIn this place of suffering, I will weep constantly. With my fears, would I immortalize the world's ignorance. Though deliberately, I suffer someone else's life, like a spiritual shard, it silently glides along God's wounds, resentful of the world's heartbreak. His fearful revenge, could I understand this suffering? My song of pain will eat this war away. Though my knife shall never rape my enemy to the end; The resting place of my emotions, could violate God's creature so softly. © 2014 Raymond FederleAuthor's NoteReviews
