Dark DancingA Poem by Raymond FederleDark Dancing
Surrounded by blank fears in an empty space of forgotten realities. I see the resonating light. Pulsing brighter with each vibration.
It screams silent revenge and claws at the infinite blackness. It grows as the morning slices through the still air. I am afraid of the light, the truth and the reality that clings to the sun.
I have been hidden from the truth for so long.
I love to swim in the puddles of black dismay, scream at the demons that torture my soul in a beautiful pain, see nothing but a vast array of stars.
The remains of my shattered faith drift in this darkness where no one is judged by appearance, for you can only see that haunted shade. Yet still the light shines unrelenting, it burns upon my soul.
The brightest light only casts a darker shadow. I will dance with the silhouettes of my thoughts in the blackest corners of the mind. © 2014 Raymond FederleAuthor's NoteReviews
