Still I StandA Poem by Raymond FederleStill I StandI stand immoral in the shadow of world's heart. As I am, without mercy. I adore flame and ash. I relish this lifeless hatred and imagine myself dark pilliars of chaos. A seemly parade of lost infatuations marching to destinations within the lonely mountain of my spirit. Suddenly, I have become my own ignorance and I am amused. The whole of the heavens could not contain my suffering and it spills out onto the battle field of my soul. I accept the world's revenge and in agony cast aside my pride. And still I stand immoral. © 2015 Raymond FederleAuthor's NoteReviews
