Shine

Shine

A Poem by Raymond Federle

The dark pathways the moon has traveled.

It encircles life through heavens field.
A shaping force ever aligning its course,

using the night to work its will.

Pulling deep harvests of silver beams,

to filter through branches of midnight streams.
That sing laments for their barren state and carry no more happiness in their dreams.

This has an almost serene feeling to it. I love the imagery :) Nicely penned!
