The Lingering Moment Of A Wispy Hum.

The Lingering Moment Of A Wispy Hum.

A Poem by Raymond Federle
"

The Lingering Moment Of A Wispy Hum.

"

There were distances in my mind to great to fathom.
Chasms of indifference and infinite separation between my conscience and sanity.
There were times I wanted to fade away but I always remain.
So fragile was my soul that once bared, a wisp of your breath could carry my feelings away and often did.
There are many things I did not intend.

Some struck you straight to the heart.
Now, there is not enough time to fix any of this.

Would we if we could?

This my final thought and I'll hold you there.

Till it's gone.

Your title drew me in, powerful emotions pen'd here. Indifference is always a killer, great music too, as always!

'too' great to fathom...& indeed.
