The day my heart turned to stone

its that thought that sticks in your mind
the one that pries at you all morning
knowing that something bad is going to happen
It was one of those days....

That last i love you never sounded right
that last kiss never seemed perfect
that last touch didn't feel right
it was one of those days....

that sparkle in your eye wasn't there.
your hair didn't shine like it did.
your voice didn't have that tone
your lips didn't have that touch
it was one of those days....

so it was one last kiss
one last touch
one last goodbye
one last wish
because that was the day my heart turned to stone...
