BruisesA Poem by Rebecca
I graze my fingers over my lips,
still warm. The touch of your mouth lingers Left to right. Red to violet to peach. You created a rainbow in the numbness Like when the waves are breaking the colors cascade through the mist Just before they reach the shore. Evaporated. As if they never existed. Red To violet to peach. © 2021 RebeccaReviews
