Tragedy

Tragedy

A Poem by Rebecca

I am characterized by longing,
for not even the knowledge of love is enough for the guttony of my ever aching heart.
Always crying out for more, to be adored!
And the loss of Nothing is tragedy.

Sometimes the love we have and the love we need are two different entities and one doesn’t not fulfill the way it should

A very melodramatic piece. "I am characterized by longing." Aren't we all? Isn't that just human nature? It is human nature to always be longing for something. Maybe, you are just being too hard on yourself.....
or if you truly believe that you are too desirous, at least you realize this about yourself and now have time and the ability to change it.

To be adored requires a healthy self love.

All or Nothing. We would take it All, but Nothing seems that compelling we automatically go with it.
Probably why love and hate go together.

i absolutely love the message you delivered in such a short poem. "and the loss of nothing is tragedy". i really was brought all of the aching feelings of despair that you described. really good job!

Thank you for your review! I am so glad that you enjoyed my work :)
I liked how you made the words dance to perfect ending. Love can end tragedy if we are too greedy. Thank you Rebecca for sharing the amazing poetry and your thoughts.
