Chapter One: Prolog

    I think I've always known I'm better off alone. I mean, I've always pushed people away. I was so used to being alone, I didn't want to change it. It wasn't until I started making real friends is when it all ended. I told myself to fear death, but to embrace it with open arms. I thought I wanted to die. But I was wrong. I wasn't ready yet but it was the only way to live happily. Sometimes you have to die to save you.
