In the Courtroom

In the Courtroom

A Poem by Crimson Apples

There is no true right or wrong,
Only differing eyes in which we see through,
And different people who we speak too.
In this man's eyes, he had not done anything,
Anything wrong.
He says it was an instinct, simply self-defence.
And I could agree.
It depends on what he was thinking, what he was feeling.
But here, inside the court room,
those thoughts, those feelings, they don't matter.
Everyone now sees through the eyes of the law.
We judge based on actions,
The facts.
And those facts are,
that a man, was killed.
He was murdered,
and this man,
sitting in this very room,
although he may have held no ill intent,
killed him.

wow. This just goes to show society doesn't care about the entire story. Sad really. Another great piece!

Thanks =)
It is apparent that from time to time in this life and in this world for the preservation of our life and of our world we must engage in lethal self-defense.

yeah. I hate getting in trouble for defending myself, and how it can make someone, a "bad person" or.. read more
murder has no justification, neither does any other violence... But from time to time we all forget that. You know, my favorite band made a song about "sin" and they made a perfect point : "as long as people are around, they will sin."
